Stephanie Fribourg is a french stage actress, stage director as well as theater teacher. She holds a Masters in acting and studied in France, at the Conservatory of Bordeaux as well as at the acting academy ENSATT (École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Techniques du Théâtre) in the Département Comédie first at the Rue Blanche in Paris, then in Lyon. She also participated in workshops taught by Sondra Lee, Ariane Mnouchkine, Yoshi Oïda.
From 1995 till 2002, she was a member of the “Bernard Ortega Theatre company”, performing primarily European classics.
Since 2009, she is the Artistic director of L’Oiseau Bleu and has both written and directed students in French productions which have received yearly awards, five being honored with the “Grand Prix,” at the annual Festival, “Première Scène,” of the French Lycée of NY. She also offers classes and workshops to public and private schools of New York: Spence, Browning, FASNY, ISB, SIS… And created events for The Alliance Française of New York. L’Oiseau Bleu offers private class in Brooklyn as well.
Sarah Planchon started studying acting when she was 11 years old. She went to several acting schools in Paris, including Studio Pygmalion and Studio Alain de Bock. She moved to New York City in 2008 where she completed the two-year Conservatory Program at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute.
Sarah always knew that acting would be her real passion, but found herself a real interest in observing and studying her fellow actors. She works as a casting freelancer for casting agencies and casting directors. She has worked on many commercials, industrials, voice-overs, reality shows, and independent movies.
Throughout the past years, Sarah also developed a real interest in working with children of all ages ands been working as a teacher for L’Oiseau Bleu since 2013.
