L’Oiseau Bleu offers a French-English summer filmmaking workshop designed for students who want to experience all aspects of filmmaking!

During this exciting and creative workshop, students will have a hands-on approach into the elements of filmmaking including screenwriting, cinematography, sound recording, shooting and editing.

The course will culminate with the screening of a short film created by students during the course.

Day 1 – Morning: Scrip writing and Improvisations – Afternoon: Writing and watching films excerpts.
Day 2 – Morning: Finishing script writing and Improvisations – Afternoon: Cinematography and sound.
Day 3 – Morning and Afternoon: Beginning of shooting (acting, camera, sound, light)
Day 4 – Shooting all day.
Day 5 – Editing and projection of the short film at the end of the day (with parents if they can).
Of course there will be breaks, with soccer, basket ball, games… Students will have to bring a lunch.

Week 1: June 29 to July 7 (June 29 make-up, no class July 4)

Week 3: July 17 to July 21

FEES: $475/Week

*Students may sign up for one, two or all three weeks. Each week commences a new production.
